International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
This International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to ending this harmful traditional practice. Through the Efua Dorkenoo Fund to End FGM, we support the frontline fight and the grassroots organizations that protect girls, challenge harmful traditions, and drive real, lasting change.
In November 2024, we traveled to Narok District, Kenya, where we witnessed the lifesaving work of our grantee, Tasaru Ntomonok Initiative (TNI). At their rescue center, girls who once faced FGM and child marriage now find safety, education, and hope.
Watch their powerful stories:
FGM can end in our lifetime—but only if we invest in those on the frontlines. Honor Efua Dorkenoo’s legacy. Stand with survivors. Take action today!
Together, we will build a world where no girl is at risk of FGM.
