Hair from a different perspective
Allison Daza and Valerie Porcara created an event on 11 September in San Diego, California, where they showcased their hair cutting and coloring skills for the benefit of non-profit charities, in this case Donor Direct Action.
According to Allison, “this show is to stimulate art, culture, and the community.” She and Valerie hope it will be the first of many similar events they create, “with other stylists joining our education co-op and supporting world issues.”
Valerie heard about Donor Direct Action through the television series “WOMAN” on Viceland and as Allison said, we “love what your community is doing to help women around the world.”
