Giving Tuesday: Give where funds are most needed
Thank you for all your support this year for our front line partners! You have helped women including Jeannette Urquilla from ORMUSA in El Salvador and Victoria Villanueva from Manuela Ramos in Peru, who work to end femicide in Latin America and help ensure that women and girls can live in safety. You have helped Justine Masika Bihamba from Synergie des Femmes start to build a women’s coalition for peace in DR Congo, and Iluta Lace from Marta, Latvia and Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge from Embrace Dignity, South Africa, in their efforts to end sex trafficking.
The brave and insightful activists who work on the front lines to end violence and discrimination against women tend to get little attention and even less funding. With your help we can change that.
This Giving Tuesday please use your donation wisely and support these and other front line groups on our website. Their work saves lives. And as always, if you live in the U.S., your contribution is also tax deductible.
Please also take a moment to let people know about Donor Direct Action on social media, or otherwise. If you use Facebook you could start a fundraiser. Please do whatever you can to help get donations where they are most needed.
Together we are changing the lives of women and girls around the world. It is challenging work but it is moving forward. Let’s keep the momentum going!
Thank you,
Jessica Neuwirth
Director
