Actress and advocate Robin Wright and designer Karen Fowler recently launched Pour Les Femmes, a socially conscious sleepwear company, to benefit Synergie des Femmes contre les Violences Sexuelles and Action Kivu. Synergie des Femmes works to help survivors of sexual violence in the Congo rebuild their lives.

Pour les Femmes is partnering with Synergie des Femmes to donate 100% of the profits from its sales during the next 28 days to help the women of the Congo get back their right to feel safe.

Last December, Robin Wright agreed to serve as Synergie’s Global Ambassador. Synergie, a partner of Donor Direct Action, provides psycho-social, medical, and legal defense services to victims of sexual violence in North Kivu, a war-torn province in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“I’ve been to the Congo and I have seen Synergie’s work first-hand. The medical care and support they provide to victims of sexual assault is life-saving,” said Robin Wright. “I am proud to serve as their Goodwill Ambassador because I know their work is making a difference in the lives of women and girls every day.”

Since her visit to the Congo, Robin has made annual contributions to help victims of sexual violence supported by Synergie. Last September, the women of Kibumba made a video to thank Robin and to show her how the support they received from her has helped them rebuild their lives.
