In November and December of 2017 and January of 2018, ASOGEN formed a workshop for a group of adolescents from the municipality of Nahualá, Sololá. This Leadership and Youth Empowerment training workshop was formed to discuss the prevention of violence against women and the deconstruction of macho behavior.

In February 2018, this group of adolescents had the opportunity to participate in the recording of the radio soap opera "Toma Mi Mano" (Take My Hand). ASOGEN was part of the Advisory Council of the radio soap opera, which was launched on February 22, 2018 and the production reached all of Guatemala in March of that year.
