Dear friends,

Our 10th Anniversary year - 2021 - has been both challenging and rewarding. We are proud to report that as of December 2021, Donor Direct Action has re-granted over $5 million dollars to our partners and grantees! This is a significant milestone and, thanks to you – our front line donors – we have been able to continue supporting our dedicated front line activists. We are particularly glad to have been able to get some desperately needed funds into Afghanistan to support the shelter we partner with in Kabul, which continues its efforts to save lives under the most trying circumstances.

On Human Rights Day we celebrated our anniversary with an online dialogue between founding board members Gloria Steinem and Lynn Nottage, followed by a broadcast of our 10th-anniversary event featuring Yvonne Chaka-Chaka, Christine Lahti, Denis Mukwege, Meryl Streep, and many of our front line partners from around the world.
